Nine months marked by measures on the renewable energy front (moratorium and law on suitable areas, but also the Pratobello proposal signed by 210,000 Sardinians "for whom we have so much respect"), the attempt to implement a reorganization of the health system and, lastly, the concrete risk that the President of the Region could fall, dragging the entire Sardinian Assembly with her. This is the picture told by the President of the Regional Council Piero Comandini in the traditional press conference at the beginning of the year, where he illustrated all the numbers of the council's activity for 2024.

A job that the regional secretary of the Democratic Party is convinced he can continue, despite everything, "because I do not place limits on providence, and above all on the truth". That of governor Alessandra Todde - whose dismissal was requested on 3 January by the electoral guarantee board at the Court of Appeal for irregularities in electoral expenses - and which Comandini defends. " The president is not backing down and will soon report to the Chamber, but only after having filed the appeal with the ordinary court ". She could do so on 3 February, the day of the statutory session that will be officially scheduled by the meeting of the group leaders.

The president of the highest assembly knows well that the Region is behind on the 2025 budget, which could gain a privileged lane compared to the health bill. " I understand that the Council will approve the budget this week , but even if it were to arrive in the Chamber earlier, it will not finish the work of the sixth commission on the reform front."

Some numbers: forty sessions of the Regional Council, 22 laws approved, 6 motions and 19 orders of the day, 113 questions, 7 interpellations, and 12 meetings of the conference of group leaders. As for the commissions, there were 127 sessions for a total of 186 hearings .
