Monza is looking for an increasingly difficult pursuit of salvation with the return of Alessandro Nesta as coach. With two short press releases, the Brianza club announced the dismissal of Salvatore Bocchetti and the return of the former defender, who was removed from his position last December 23.

For Nesta, the second debut as Monza coach will be next Sunday, at 3 pm, in the home match against Lecce . A sort of last resort, as a salvation clash: the red and whites are last with 13 points, 8 points behind Empoli, fourth from last and before the salvations. With Bocchetti on the bench, there have been six defeats in seven games, the only victory against Fiorentina on January 13 (2-1). Yesterday the heavy defeat against Lazio, 5-1 .
