A new air route to connect Cagliari with Copenhagen and Denmark.
It will be activated next summer by SAS Scandinavian Airlines , as announced by Fabio Mereu , CEO of Sogaer, the company that manages the Cagliari airport.
“We are honoured to welcome a leading company like SAS, which has chosen our airport to expand its network,” says Mereu, adding: “Sogaer and its people will enthusiastically support the initiatives to promote the new connection with the hope that flights to Copenhagen will be so successful as to continue during shoulder periods and in winter.”
"With the new flights, a window opens onto a new and very promising market, interesting for the opportunities for exchange and growth of both the eminently tourist flows and the commercial ones linked to the presence on the Sardinian territory of companies and entrepreneurs capable of activating connections that were previously unthinkable . Also worth highlighting is the breadth of the SAS network that will allow Sardinians to stop in Copenhagen to fly to one of the many intercontinental destinations reached by SAS", concluded CEO Mereu.
SAS direct flights connecting Cagliari and Copenhagen will be available in Summer 2025 starting from 1 July 2025 and will depart twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday.
