Napoli, Mazzarri sacked: Calzona will be there against Cagliari

He had arrived to revive a cursed season and try to bring back to Naples the euphoria of the Scudetto, and above all of his first experience in Campania. But the second film never lives up to the first.
Walter Mazzarri was sacked by the Neapolitan club, after seventeen benches in all competitions, in which only six victories came, compared to eight defeats and three draws. He leaves the team in ninth place in the standings, nine points from fourth place (he had inherited it from Rudi Garcia in fourth place).
In his place will be Francesco Calzona , Maurizio Sarri's historic deputy at the time of Naples and current coach of Slovakia. This, at first, had led to the idea of the inclusion of former captain Marek Hamsik (Slovakian) in the staff, but this will not be the case. It will therefore be with the new coach that the Azzurri will arrive in Cagliari to face Ranieri's rossoblù.
