Musas e Terras, the exhibition dedicated to Sardinian poetry and music is underway

The fifth edition of Musas e Terras , a series of events dedicated to the poetic and musical arts of Sardinia , is almost there .
«The central theme - explain from Cordinamentu Campos, organizer of the event -, “Su tempus chi mudat”, focuses attention, from various perspectives, on the evolution of languages, both with the study of the historical path that brought the arts traditional to the current form, and through the proposal of meetings, projects and contaminations that can open new paths to the Sardinian music and poetry of the future».
It starts on August 25th from Tortolì where, within the program of the feast of San Gemiliano bishop and martyr, there is an evening dedicated to poetic improvisation and dance, in which, for the first time, the suddenness and cantu a mutetus. The accompanying music will be reworked by an unprecedented instrumental ensemble.
On 9 September we move to Bortigali where, for the celebrations of Santa Maria de Sauccu, a traveling concert is planned along the devotional paths and the ancient muristenis. The organization is curated by Gigi Oliva.
On 12 September in Burcei , within the celebrations of Santa Maria, a great meeting curated by "Sòtziu launeddas Sardinia", with the setting up of the house museum "Sa domu de is launeddas".
Finally, on October 1 , it is the turn of Ghilarza and the feast of Santa Lughia: a concert curated by Carlo Boeddu is scheduled with revisited traditional melodies and dances.
