Turning to the MotoGP World Championship. Francesco Bagnaia on Ducati comes third in the Australian Grand Prix and, taking advantage of Fabio Quartararo's crash, climbs to the top of the world championship standings when there are two races left to go.

At Philip Island, Alex Rins ' Suzuki crosses the finish line in front of everyone, while Marc Marquez 's Honda arrives in second position, preceding the blue on Ducati.

Five other Ducatis immediately behind the podium , those of Marco Bezzecchi, Enea Bastianini, Luca Marini, Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco. Aleix Espargaro on Aprilia and Brad Binder on Ktm close the top ten.

The turning point comes with 17 laps to go, when Fabio Quartararo loses the front of his Yamaha at the entrance to turn 2 of the Philip Island circuit. A serious mistake that brings the Turin driver to the top of the World Championship.

Bagnaia with 233 points precedes Quartararo at 219 , Alexi Espargaro at 206 and Enea Bastianini at 191.
