With a goal in each half, Monastir beat Vianese 2-0 and fly to Serie D for the first time in its history.

The goals decided the first half by Pinna on a free kick and Cocco in the final minutes on a penalty awarded by the referee for a foul on Sarritzu. Explosion of joy in the stands.

In the first leg Monastir lost 2-1. Today Monastir was great against a very strong opponent like Vianese.

Local coach Marcello Angheleddu made the right move with nine minutes to go by bringing on two experienced strikers like Nurchi and Cocco: and it was Cocco, a former player for Cagliari, Vicenza, Pescara and Trapani who sent Monastir flying into Serie D with a masterly penalty kick.

The match ended after 9 minutes of injury time in addition to the three in the first half.
