Marc Marquez won the San Marino Grand Prix in Misano. The Spaniard of the Ducati team Gresini preceded the world champion on the official Ducati, Francesco Bagnaia. Also on the podium was Enea Bastianini, third, with the other official Ducati.

Only fifteenth was the leader of the riders' standings Jorge Martin, betrayed by the arrival of the rain and by a wrong strategy that saw him replace his bike with the wet one too early, unlike all the leading riders who were right to stay on the track waiting for the rain to stop.

Bagnaia is thus getting closer to Martin, he is only seven points behind. The Spaniard is at 312, the Italian at 305.
