There's also a bit of red and blue in the Colombia squad that will compete in the next World Cup. Cagliari defender Yerry Mina is on Argentina coach Néstor Lorenzo's squad list.

The coach has officially announced the 26 players called up for the 'Tricolor' team for the World Cup, which will be played in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Among the more experienced names are also David Ospina and Juan Fernando Quintero, while the exclusions of strikers Rafael Santos Borré and Kevin Viveros are notable.

The list also includes two players who play in the Italian championship: defender Jhon Lucumí of Bologna and, as mentioned, Yerry Mina of Cagliari.

Colombia will make their debut on June 17 at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City against Uzbekistan, then face the Democratic Republic of Congo in Guadalajara and close out the group on June 27 in Miami against Portugal.
