After the arrival of methane in the Municipalities of Buddusò, Sedilo and Simala, the program of the Local Distributor Medea provides for the conversion of city gas from LPG to methane in four other Sardinian Municipalities by the end of September. The first Municipality involved is Siurgus Donigala, whose conversion is scheduled for the imminent 30th August, followed by Mandas on 8th September, Valledoria on 13th September and Santadi on 21st September. Gaxa , the main energy supplier in Sardinia , has started the sale of methane in these locations.

How to ensure the continuity of your supply?

On the conversion date envisaged for each Municipality, the supply of LPG on the network will cease automatically. It is essential to sign a methane supply contract with Gaxa before this date, so as to guarantee the continuity of the gas supply without interrupting the service. Furthermore, citizens will benefit from the most convenient energy option, with savings of up to 30% of expenses compared to LPG on the network, and with a lower environmental impact .

The steps to switch to methane

Switching to methane will be quick and easy for customers already served by LPG online. After signing the contract, the Customer will be contacted by an installer who will adapt the gas system to use methane and provide the correct certification. Those not yet served by the gas network will have to request the connection, sign the contract choosing what to use the natural gas for (cooking, heating and/or hot water), and build the plant. By entrusting the work to a technician working with Gaxa, the cost of building or adapting the system will be borne by the Sardinian company up to a maximum of 500 euros, including VAT.

Gaxa's offer

Gaxa currently supplies electricity throughout Sardinia and network gas to over 55,000 customers in 85 municipalities on the island, offering Sardinian families methane and, in the four main capitals, other gas networks. To sign a supply contract with Gaxa and to find out more details about the initiative, you can call the free toll-free number 800 050 101, active from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 18.00, or go to one of the many points of sale in the area and/or consult the website www.gaxaenergia.it .
