He calls the health care reform approved Thursday with only the votes of Campo Largo a "little law". "An insignificant rule", says Franco Meloni , a retired hospital manager and leader of the Reformers, of which he was also a regional councilor. The honorable also rejects across the board the idea of a Sardinian San Raffaele , " a surreal thing ", he warns on Radiolina , guest of today's episode of "A tu per tu". Meloni then relaunched her idea of health care: "Sardinia needs a prevention department: we forget that first of all we need to treat the healthy, to prevent them from arriving in hospitals". Here is the podcast with the complete interview with the liberal democratic exponent.

Still on the reform wanted by Alessandra Todde , Meloni made some reflections. First of all: «It only serves to appoint commissioners to the ASL». And on the subject of the spoils system, the manager underlined: «I agree with the majority that it should be done, but since the law does not allow it, here is a fake reform invented. A botched text, with choices, such as the departments of prevention, mental health and rehabilitation, just to make fun of it ». To the president of the Region, Meloni addresses the choices of the commissioners: «I would think carefully before sending away some of those who know, including the things they have done and their programs. I am referring to Paolo Cannas (Asl of Nuoro), Marcello Tidore (Cagliari), Giorgio Carboni (Medio Campidano) and Marcello Acciaro (Olbia). On Tidore in particular, he underlines: «Everyone knows that the reform is a law made to oust Tidore».

With regard to the structural framework in which to hinge the right of every citizen to healthcare, Meloni explained: « Healthcare must be public , all citizens must be guaranteed assistance, in the same way wherever they are in the region. But the patient is not interested in knowing who is visiting him, whether it is a doctor paid by a private individual or by the Regional Health Service ». As for the blame of politics in the management of services, the manager of the Reformers said: « The centre-right that has governed for the last five years has a lot of responsibility for the current situation , which certainly also depends on wrong decisions taken in the last twenty years, on both sides. Former president Solinas, however, had some important intuitions, at the beginning of the legislature, such as the construction of new hospitals. Then, inexplicably, he approved the feasibility plan only fifteen days before leaving».

As for the "recipes" to relaunch the island's healthcare system, which is providing less and less care, Meloni said: "Sardinia needs to review its hospital networks , I would continue with the establishment of a prevention agency and finally I would create a territorial network . These are three planning measures, therefore under the jurisdiction of the Regional Council, which the Regional Council will have to promote, rather than making silly laws like the last one, which will probably be challenged by the Government and overturned by the Constitutional Court".
