The government is working on a measure to tackle the rise in energy bills (+ 40%), but the measures will not be on the table of the Council of Ministers today, which will deal with the Green pass decree.

This is what is learned from executive sources at the end of Prime Minister Mario Draghi's meeting with Ministers Roberto Cingolani and Daniele Franco. To intervene, it is explained, there is time until 30 September.

In today's meeting we talked about the possible measures to be launched in the coming days: we are thinking of rewriting the calculation method for electricity and gas bills in order to save Italian families from this autumn “sting”.
