Leandro Lo, eight times world champion of Brazilian jiu jitsu, was killed in Sao Paulo .

The 33-year-old wrestler was shot in the head . According to the South American press, an off-duty policeman in a club was shot.

The man, a 30-year-old, was drunk and allegedly approached Leandro Lo threatening him with a bottle . Suddenly he would have pulled out his gun, hitting him in the forehead. After the incident he handed himself over to the police.

Mourning in Brazil, where the champion was very famous: he had won the eighth world title just three months ago.
