Marc Marquez doesn't give up one and after the fall in the long race in Austin he returned to Qatar to act as a cannibal, taking pole position, sprint race and grand prix. The victory, his 65th in the MotoGP class, but also his first in Qatar since 2014, allows the champion from Cervera to extend his lead in the world championship standings with 123 points, 17 more than his brother Alex, today only seventh, and 26 more than a growing Bagnaia.
