A more constant defense and an attack where the ball spins better: the Markovic treatment seems to be working for the Sassari team. The coup on the pitch in Venice confirmed the tactical growth and mental toughness admired against Virtus Bologna.
The new coach managed to unite the group and win two unexpected victories which allowed Dinamo to move to +8 from Pesaro and +10 from Brindisi, bottom of the championship. For mathematical salvation, three victories are still needed, perhaps only two, to be obtained in the remaining eight rounds.
At least in words the blue and white team is not yet thinking about the playoffs, which however remain only two points behind. Having found a game identity authorizes them to chase seventh and eighth place, even if the championship remains indecipherable with many results that contradict the predictions. A further benefit of the two victories is having gained the necessary serenity to bring back the Lithuanian winger Bendzius without the worry of a precarious ranking.
