Marc Marquez won the German MotoGP GP on his Ducati at the Sachsenring. His brother Alex finished second on his Team Gresini Ducati; Pecco Bagnaia, riding the other factory Ducati, came third, having recovered from eleventh on the grid.

A missed opportunity for Marco Bezzecchi on his Aprilia, who crashed and went off the track while in second position.
