Giovanni Impastato 's book is the main dish served at the literary and music festival "I am with books. Read that passes you" , created by the Pro loco , the Esedra cooperative, the Emmepi bookshop, the Maart association, together with other associations and schools in the area.

On Sunday evening, at the Maart City Heart Intermodal , there is the welcome return of Giovanni Impastato to Macomer , to present his novel "My brother, a whole life with Peppino" . The writer will talk with Beppe Manias and will talk about the conflict of those who lived the mafia within the home and the subsequent battles for legality and truth.

The one with Impastato, created in collaboration with the Gramsciana Onlus library , is one of the events that are characterizing the month of November in Macomer and in the Marghine , with the fourth edition of the literary festival. The event opened the season in October and will continue until Christmas with a rich calendar of literary and musical events, which will take place between Macomer and the centers of Marghine.

This is an initiative that aims to stimulate and encourage the habit of reading, with the involvement of students and teachers of the local schools . For the children of the kindergarten, playful activities are provided with reading and creative writing workshops.
