Ludovica Satta, 16, from Nuoro, a student at the Antonietta Chironi Civic Music School, achieved a prestigious milestone by placing second in the 13th edition of the Lucio Dalla Prize , an important national music competition dedicated to singer-songwriters.

The competition finals took place on the weekend of September 5 and 6, 2025, at Gold TV's Teatro Studios in Rome, and featured artists from all over Italy. The competition, dedicated to the memory of the great maestro Lucio Dalla, is open to singer-songwriters and performers with original songs.

The song that Ludovica stood out with was titled "La Rosa dei Venti," a moving new piece written and arranged by her teachers Francesca Lai and Davide Guiso . With her intense and mature performance, Ludovica won the hearts of the judges and the audience, earning a well-deserved second place.

"It's a source of great pride for me to see one of my students receive such a significant recognition, the fruit of her commitment and passion," wrote a visibly moved Francesca Lai. The competition, artistically directed by Maurizio Meli, confirmed itself this year as an event that was not only competitive but above all human, where sharing, respect, and mutual support among participants stood out. "We are thrilled, honored, and delighted by this great achievement. Thank you, Ludovica, for taking 'La Rosa dei Venti' so far. This is just the beginning," added the school team.

Sardinia as a whole once again celebrates a young talent who has successfully established himself well beyond the region's borders.
