While nationally, six million and 259 thousand tickets have already been purchased (+ 37.7% compared to 2020), in view of the final draw scheduled for January 6, in Sardinia there are over 75 thousand tickets sold by the Italian Lottery, equal to 1.2% of the total.

On the island there are two “black jersey” cities for the few coupons bought by citizens, about 6,200, together with Vibo Valentia, Isernia, Crotone and Biella.

In Cagliari and Sassari, on the other hand, just over 25 thousand tickets were bought, while in Southern Sardinia 12,500.

At a territorial level, Lombardy is the Region in which the most tickets have been sold, with 15.2% of coupons detached, followed by Lazio with 12.1%, third place for Campania with 8.7% of total. In the top five Emilia Romagna, with 7.5%, and Piedmont with 6.6%. In the top ten also Tuscany (6.1%), Veneto (5.7%), Sicily (5.4%), Puglia (4.2%) and Marche (2.3%).

The coupons were purchased above all in tobacconists and betting shops (4.3 million), while online purchases decreased, very popular last year due to the lockdown (-47.4%).
