The regional council approved a provision that allocates 9 million euros to support the artistic and cultural world, particularly affected in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, so that live shows, theatrical, musical and dance activities "continue to animate evenings in our cities and villages, ”explains Governor Christian Solinas.

2022 also began with the extension of the state of emergency. For this reason, says the commissioner Andrea Biancareddu, "in the financial years 2020 and 2021 the regional council has adopted extraordinary measures aimed at expanding and accelerating the possibilities of intervention, at increasing the liquidity of the entertainment organizations and at least partially allowing the overcoming of the harmful effects on the sector resulting from this dramatic and exceptional contingency ".

Live entertainment activities are considered an important element “in the cultural growth, social integration and economic development of the island and the entire regional socio-economic fabric. For this reason, the Solinas Council wanted to guarantee, also for 2022, the realization of the activities, authorizing the programming of the resources allocated in the regional budget ”, adds the Region.

All expenses can be reported net of any tax concessions provided for by the national and regional measures adopted to deal with the emergency.

The special projects will be financed for the amount of 2.50% of the allocation and therefore, for the year 2022, a maximum amount of € 225 thousand.
