Lazio footballer Raul Moro was robbed of his car late yesterday evening while traveling, together with his father, the Grande Raccordo Anulare in Rome.

According to what has been reconstructed by the police so far, four criminals, around 11 pm, stopped the 20-year-old's Mercedes and after beating the two on board, they took over the car and then ran away.

Soon after, the gang fled. Moro and his father were transported to the Casilino hospital. The abandoned car was instead found in Castel Giubileo.

The Mobile Squad, the Traffic Police and the men of the Fidene police station are investigating the case.
