Fear during the first day of the Laver Cup , a tennis tournament running in London until Sunday.
During the second singles between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Diego Schwartzman, an activist invaded the field and set fire to his arm , near the net.
The televisions immediately obscured the scene, framing the two shocked tennis players. The stewards intervened immediately to put out the flames: the match was then resumed after the arrival of the security officers who took the boy away and cleaned the ground from the traces of flammable liquid still present.
The young man, who wore the "Stop private jets in Britain" T-shirt, protested against climate change .
During the Roland Garros semifinal between Marin Cilic and Casper Ruud, a woman tied herself to the net to raise awareness on the environment.
