In the new Pnrr , approved by the EU Commission 15 days ago after the Government's review, there are cuts of at least 250 million euros for Sardinia . And another 120 million out of the remaining 250 million are also at risk.

Silvio Lai , PD deputy in the budget commission, reports this with a question to Minister Fitto and the ministers responsible for the defunded measures intended for municipalities and local health authorities: the "cuts", explains the parliamentarian, concern the municipalities but also the local health authorities for hospitals and community homes.

«15 days have already passed since the approval of the revision of the Pnrr by the European Commission and not only is Parliament unaware of the works actually defunded but also the municipal and regional administrations involved, including the local health authorities - he observes - . It is not clear why the administrations did not receive any information in July when the defunding plan was proposed to the European Commission and even less now. Administrations cannot be left in the dark regarding defunded works just as they cannot be left at the mercy of declarations of new funding without these being identified with certainty, especially if it involves European resources that need to be accounted for."

The certain cuts: cut by almost 214 million euros of the resources relating to the M2C4 I2.2 measure (" Interventions for the resilience, valorisation of the territory and energy efficiency of the municipalities "); the funds allocated to Integrated Urban Plans have been reduced («We are waiting for the Government's response for the definitive figure, but the cut should be over 120 million ); the defunding of the M5C3 measures ( "Strengthening community services and social infrastructures" ) on territorial cohesion which are worth 37 million on the island has been confirmed.

Returning to the important cut on the M2C4 measure, they range from 6.1 million euros for Sassari, 4.88 million for Alghero, 2.52 million for Muravera, 2.6 Tempio and 2.9 Villasor up to 100,000 euros for Austis, or the 300,000 euros obtained from around 250 small municipalities.

« Doubts - says the Dem deputy - remain about which works have been defunded among those included in the integrated urban plans which, in Sardinia, concerned the 17 municipalities of the metropolitan city of Cagliari for over 97 million euros and for urban regeneration the 15 medium-sized cities on the island including Sassari, Alghero, Porto Torres, Olbia, Tempio, Nuoro, Oristano, Cagliari, Carbonia, Iglesias, Capoterra, Sinnai, Monserrato, Selargius and Quartu".
