L'Isola Nuda, two days of festival between art and nudity
It will take place in two of the six Sardinian beaches authorized for naturist tourism: Baia delle Ninfe in Porto Conte and Cala Torre Bianca in Porto Ferro
The second edition of L'Isola Nuda is underway, the first national festival between art and the right to nudity organized by the Italian Naturist Association Anita, in collaboration with the Teatro d'Inverno company. «The only festival in Italy, based in Sardinia, open to nudity, always optional and never compulsory, both for the public and for the artists», explain the organizers who have set up a rich calendar from 1st to 3rd September, between theater , music, Dj sets, moments of collective performing arts. It will take place on two of the six Sardinian beaches authorized by municipal resolutions for naturist tourism: the Baia delle Ninfe inside the Porto Conte Park and Cala Torre Bianca, in Porto Ferro .
"The project is ambitious," reads a press release. "Promoting nudity as a possible practice in nature and in places where it is allowed, contributing to the development of the Sardinian naturist tourism district, breaking down prejudices and clichés related to the exposure of the naked body". It begins on Friday 1 September at 9 pm with the Winter Theater which, in the gardens of the estates of the "I Vigneti" farm in Santa Caterina a Olmedo, will present "Venus in fur" in the form of a show-aperitif inspired by the screenplay of the same name by David Ives and the novel by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch.
There will be six appointments on the calendar on Saturday 2 September . At 9 in Porto Ferro the "Immersioni", the free performing art workshops led by the Pisan actress, dancer and author Serena Gatti of the Azul Teatro company. At 11.30 at the farmhouse "I Vigneti" the meeting on the theme "Naturist Friendly, the District of Naturist Tourism in Sardinia" moderated by Sergio Cossu. Together with the local administrations, the protected natural areas, the local economic operators, the issue of nudity on beaches and in officially recognized places will be addressed, as a form of ecotourism that respects the environment and the communities.
From 3 to 5 pm space for relaxation and well-being with the sessions of the "Holistic Paths" by Laura Andreotti, physiotherapist expert in rehabilitation and teacher in decontracting massage and Gabriele Masala, holistic operator, masseur and teacher. The event will be held in the privately owned Pineta Carboni, close to the Baia delle Ninfe, by reservation. At 18 in Cala Torre Bianca of Porto Ferro "Ancestral Dance", immersive work with live music by percussionist Paolo Zuddas under the guidance of Marina Paul. Saturday evening will end in music at Il Baretto di Porto Ferro with the singer and actor Gionta together with the Krakatoa band and the Dj set by Marta Martinez.
Sunday 3 , from 10 "Metaphors of the body, performance on the poetic body" by Stefania Lai. An artistic work with the musical accompaniment of guitarist Marcello Peghin and percussionist Paolo Zuddas. From 4 pm, space for families with the "CantEssenza" workshop by Maria Chiara Fadda of the Porto Conte Environmental Youth Association, based on a singing method that involves parents and children.
