Completely unrecognizable with his silver hair and beard, Johnny Depp is returning to Hollywood: Lionsgate has released the first image from the new film Day Drinker that the actor is about to shoot in Spain, his first with a major since the legal battle between him and his ex-wife Amber Heard.
The photo shows Depp leaning against a bar counter with a cocktail in his hand, wearing a smart blue suit and a frowning look.
The film is directed by Marc Webb of 500 Days of Summer and the latest live action Snow White starring Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler.
Penelope Cruz will return alongside Depp, for the fourth time alongside the star after starring in Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Murder on the Orient Express.
Day Drinker tells the story of a waitress on a private yacht (Madelyn Cline) who meets a mysterious guest on board (Depp), and the two become entangled with a female criminal (Cruz) with unexpected connections and consequences.
