Max Verstappen for Red Bull won the Japanese GP, the third round of the Formula 1 world championship.

On the podium, in that order, also the McLarens of Norris and Piastri. Ferrari instead finished fourth with Leclerc and seventh with Hamilton.

Verstappen led the race for almost all 53 laps, excluding those during the tyre change phase. The world champion thus achieved his fourth consecutive victory at Suzuka.

Behind Leclerc, the Mercedes of George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. The Italian was the leader of the Grand Prix for a few laps, the youngest ever in F1. He also set the fastest lap.
