Yellow in Santa Margherita Ligure where a headless and handsless corpse was found.

The body belongs to Mahmoud Sayed Mohamed Abdalla, a young Egyptian who has just turned 19 next October.

The first hand, whose fingerprints made it possible to trace the boy, was found by a fisherman on Monday afternoon at the mouth of the Entella river, in Chiavari. Today a lifeguard found the second one on a nearby beach.

While the mutilated body was found at sea, between Santa Margherita and Portofino, by the crew of a tender that was transporting personnel aboard a yacht. The prosecutor Daniela Pischetola has opened a murder file in order to be able to carry out all the investigations.

No hypothesis is excluded: from the murder, in fact, to the accident. According to initial information, the body of the very young North African may have been in the water for 24-48 hours. The cuts at the neck and cuffs are clean.

Abdalla, an Egyptian boy who had been a guest in a community for unaccompanied minors, had no criminal record. As an adult he joined the Cooperative's Autonomy project.
