A 72-year-old woman, Annarita Morelli, was found dead this morning inside her car in Fonte Nuova , just outside Rome. The 118 emergency services were useless and confirmed the death of the 72-year-old, who was apparently hit by at least one gunshot.

The Carabinieri of Mentana and the Monterotondo Company intervened on site and stopped the husband and took him to the barracks.

The man has already confessed to his wife's crime . After shooting, he entered a tobacco shop and said he had killed her.

The couple, who have three children, were separating.
