Vaccines, green light from AIFA at the "fourth dose" for the immunosuppressed
Concludes the primary course of 2 doses plus the additional one

The green light has arrived from the Technical Scientific Commission (CTS) of the Italian Medicines Agency (Aifa) for the fourth dose of the anti-Covid vaccine for severely immunosuppressed subjects.
The Aifa CTS met yesterday and expressed a favorable opinion, sent to the Ministry of Health.
In reality, this is not a fourth dose but the booster dose at the end of the primary vaccination course consisting of 2 doses and 1 additional dose.
The fourth dose will be administered with mRna vaccines. Times of administration are the same as for the booster dose for the general population.
