Inter coach Simone Inzaghi was questioned this morning in Milan by investigators from the Flying Squad who are investigating the Inter and Milan ultra leaders.
The Nerazzurri coach, not under investigation, is involved in a wiretap with Marco Ferdico, among the 19 arrested, who urged him to intervene with president Giuseppe Marotta to get more tickets for the Champions League final in Istanbul in June 2023.
According to the reconstruction in the order that led to the arrests, Ferdico's request to the coach was along these lines: "Intervene with the club, or rather directly with Marotta", the president of Inter, "in order to obtain an additional 200 tickets" for the Champions League final. And from Inzaghi came "the promise to intercede with the company's top management". The interception dates back to May 26, 2023.
Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti, Milan captain Davide Calabria and the players Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter) and Milan Skriniar (formerly Inter and now at PSG) will also be heard soon.
