A 38-year-old man driving his car died after his vehicle was hit and crushed by a truck .

The accident occurred this morning at dawn in the municipality of Arborio, in the Vercelli area.

The heavy vehicle was transporting bleach, and for reasons still under investigation it overturned and hit the car in which the victim was travelling , who was returning home after finishing his work shift.

The traffic police were on site, carrying out the first investigations together with a medical team, which intervened to try to rescue the motorist. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done for the man .
