The carabinieri of the Bernareggio station (Monza and Brianza) executed a precautionary measure order in prison against a 67-year-old Italian man held responsible for sexual assault on a minor.

The grandfather of a teenager was taken to prison, reported last March by the girl's mother.

The woman had told the military that her daughter had confided in her that in December last year, while she was at her grandparents' house, she had been the target of harassment.

In particular, the man had tried to take advantage of his niece while she was remarrying in bed. However, the girl had escaped and had called her mother, telling her what had happened. The suspect was then arrested and taken to jail.
