A 35-year-old was killed last night on the street in Castel Volturno, in the Caserta area.

Luigi Izzo, a barber by profession, was hit by a series of stab wounds while arguing with a 27-year-old young man outside a bar.

From the first information it seems that in the course of the heated quarrel the boy's father intervened who would then hit the victim.

The carabinieri intervened on the spot and brought the presumed responsible person to the barracks for questioning; the deputy from the Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere also arrived in the garrison of the Arma.

The stabber would have handed over to the military the weapon used for the crime.
