Tragedy during Easter lunch in Sora, in the province of Frosinone.
A 50-year-old man died after eating a slice of ham. The victim, who was disabled, was at his parents' home and in the company of other relatives when the tragedy occurred.
Some family members immediately tried to help him, the others called 118. Nothing could be done: the rescuers, who arrived on the scene with a police patrol, after repeated unsuccessful attempts at resuscitation, could only confirm the man's death.
