A three-year-old girl died in Veneto from Covid, the little girl was suffering from a tumor.

This was announced by Liviana Da Dalt, director of the Department of Women's and Child Health of the Hospital of Padua.

"At first it seemed that the children were almost immune to the virus but now they are among the main protagonists of this new wave, in the last eight weeks there has been an exponential increase - said Da Dalt -. The symptoms are minor. the hospitalizations are minor but they are not null, just as the hospitalizations in intensive care are not null and the deaths are not null ".

Da Dalt then provided some data: “More than 9 thousand children are hospitalized in Italy, 258 in intensive care, and 36 deaths. Covid is among the top ten causes of infant mortality at the moment ".
