A 13-year-old boy is hospitalized in very serious conditions at the San Camillo hospital in Rome, wounded by a gunshot to the head. The incident is under investigation by the police of the Flying Squad and the San Paolo police station.
The attempted suicide hypothesis has been ruled out for the moment: initial reports suggest that the boy was handling his brother's gun, a security guard, reconstructing it using an online tutorial.
The father was also in the house, but apparently he was in another room.
