They leave their little daughter at home alone for hours: reported

When their work shifts overlap, they leave their 5-year-old daughter alone at home for hours. After a report - probably from a neighbor who had become aware of the situation - the parents were reported for abandonment of a minor.

The couple lives in Stradella, in the province of Pavia. As verified by the carabinieri, on several occasions the mother and father have gone away for eight-hour work shifts and the child has been left without custody. The military, during the intervention, found the little girl alone: she was playing with the kitten and eating popcorn.

The case was reported to social services and to the public prosecutor's office at the Milan juvenile court.
