They had falsified Cucchi's arrest report: the crime of the two carabinieri was prescribed

The Court of Cassation has declared extinct the crime of forgery committed by the carabinieri Roberto Mandolini and Francesco Tedesco , already convicted in one of the trials for the death of Stefano Cucchi .

The judges, recognizing the statute of limitations, annulled the bis appeal sentence which had inflicted three years and six months on Mandolini and two years and four months on Tedesco.

According to the verdict of the second degree of the trial, the carabinieri had falsified Cucchi's arrest report .
