Six arrests for dealing cocaine to customers of the "Palermo Bene". And among the latter, according to what is stated in the precautionary measure order, there is the former president of Ars Gianfranco Miccichè , who however is not under investigation.

The investigation is coordinated by the prosecutor of the capital Maurizio de Lucia and by the deputy Paolo Guido.

The proceeding stems from an interception ordered as part of another investigation. Hence the need for the investigators to start the investigations which then revealed that the restaurateur Mario Di Ferro , manager of the Villa Zito restaurant, was the protagonist of an intense activity of selling cocaine to a selected clientele , an activity he carried out in his restaurant frequented by professionals, VIPs and politicians and according to investigators it has become a place of drug dealing.

Di Ferro is under house arrest, Gioacchino and Salvatore Salomone , from which the restaurateur according to the accusation was supplied, in prison. The obligation to sign has been ordered for three other Villa Zito employees .

There are about thirty drug sales that Di Ferro allegedly made in favor of Gianfranco Miccichè, a former senator of Forza Italia and former president of the Sicilian Region Assembly . The two would have used a coded language to talk about the sale of cocaine: to indicate the doses they would have referred, for example, to the number of days in which the politician would have had to go out of office. Conversations that immediately made the investigators suspicious also due to the improbability of the sentences spoken. «But how many days is it?», Di Ferro asked in the context of a totally different speech, and the politician replied: «Okay one, what the c... do I know then». In other cases, however, the politician referred to food. "What can you bring me to eat?" he asked. And Di Ferro: «I'll take care of it».

Immediately after the phone calls, Di Ferro called his suppliers. Sometimes the drug was delivered, other times it was Miccichè himself who went to get it from the restaurant. He would have done it also with the blue car of the Sicily Region, complete with a flashing light .

«Before I can say anything I have to understand what is in the investigation in which I am not being investigated, but I can say that I am sorry for Mario Di Ferro: he is a dear friend who I have known and known for many years. I went to his parties which were always a lot of fun, attended by a lot of people and where I've never seen drugs », said Miccichè.

Again: « I categorically exclude that I move by car with the flashing light on . I consider much more important in my life that I have been honest, never hurt anyone, never stolen a penny. Then each of us made some mistakes in life. The important thing is to be right with one's conscience, and I am».
