The seismic swarm in the Florentine continues, more than 30 shocks since midnight

The earth continues to shake in the province of Florence .

Another eight tremors were recorded in three hours, starting at 7.16, always with an epicenter in the Impruneta area : two of the strongest, of magnitude 2.1 at 8:35 and 2.2 at 9:16. The other 6 were all less than 2, the last at 10:17.

Four other tremors of magnitude greater than 2, the strongest of 2.7, were recorded between the municipalities of Impruneta and San Casciano between 4:42 and 5:22.

In total , 37 tremors have been recorded since midnight . According to what was announced by the Civil Protection of the Metropolitan City, 22 tremors had been recorded from midnight on 7 May until Sunday 8 May, with the epicenter always between Impruneta and San Casciano.
