Mirto Milani and the sisters Paola and Silvia Zani will go to trial, all three accused of killing Laura Ziliani, mother of Paola and Silvia, a 52-year-old ex-securitywoman killed on May 8, 2021 in Temù , in Bresciano.

The gup Gaia Sorrentino has indicted the three accused persons, who confessed to the crime and who will be in the courtroom in Brescia on October 27 for the start of the trial, before the first criminal section of the Court of Assizes.

They have to answer for complicity in aggravated voluntary homicide and death of a corpse .

Ziliani was killed for inheritance issues , the two daughters and son-in-law Mirto Milani, Silvia's companion, wanted to appropriate the widow's real estate assets. She was poisoned with a drugged muffin , which didn't kill her but stunned her: her daughters threw themselves at her, then Milani ended up suffocating her with a plastic bag on her head . The woman's body was found three months later near the Oglio River.
