Investigations underway into the death of a 41-year-old manager, Veronica Amistadi, and her four-year-old son found in the night between Saturday and last Sunday at the foot of the Mostizzolo bridge, in Trentino.

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Trento has opened a file against unknown persons, with the hypothesis of instigation to suicide.

The provision is a due act and will serve to shed full light on the causes that led to the tragedy.

The woman, resident in Trento but originally from Roncone, in the Municipality of Sella delle Giudicarie, allegedly jumped off the bridge with her son as part of a long-lasting relationship. Before making the extreme gesture, the woman left a note in the car, where explicit reference would be made to the complicated relationship with her ex-partner.

The lifeless bodies of the 41-year-old and her son were identified by the carabinieri of the Cles company on the bed of the Noce stream, after a passing motorist reported, around one in the morning, the presence of a stationary vehicle with the lights on near the bridge.

The woman was in charge of international marketing for some well-known brands, with high-level assignments also for a foreign multinational active in the pharmaceutical sector.

In the past few hours, the mayor of Sella Giudicarie, Franco Bazzoli, met the family of the two victims, expressing the closeness of the entire community.

Even the village parish priest, Don Celestino Riz, wanted to broadcast a video message to express his condolences to the relatives of the victims.
