The woman's body found yesterday in a grove in Trieste was in two bags (to form only one) of the type used in apartment buildings and her head was in two transparent plastic bags of those used in the kitchen.

An element that suggests a death caused by suffocation, but on the body it was confirmed that no signs of violence or struggle were found. A situation that leaves the investigators convinced that "every hypothesis remains open, including that of suicide", as said by the Chief Prosecutor of Trieste, Antonio De Nicolo.

To understand if it is the body of Liliana Resinovich, a 63-year-old woman who disappeared on December 14 and residing in the same neighborhood, we have to wait until tomorrow. The recognition of the body has not yet been carried out, the investigators decided not to show the body to Liliana's husband yesterday on the spot.

However, the post for the autopsy has not yet been conferred, which must shed light on the causes and date of death.

Even on the site of the discovery there are more hypotheses: if it is true, as has been said several times, that the corpse did not show the conditions of a body that had been standing there for about twenty days, it is also true that the cold temperatures recorded in recent days would make this same hypothesis plausible, the cold may have slowed decomposition.
