The body found last night in a bush on Via del Mandrione in Rome is that of Emanuela Ruggeri .

The 32-year-old had been missing for a week from Colli Aniene: she left home one evening and never returned.

Her mother had launched an appeal on social media: "I'm desperate, help me find her," explaining that she had left home at 8:35 p.m. on July 14, saying she was going to a meeting with a friend.

The police identified her through the documents she had with her and her tattoos.

From the first analyses on the body, fractures emerged that could suggest a violent action on the woman .

The Flying Squad is investigating the incident, working to acquire phone records and reconstruct with whom Emanuela spent the last hours of her life.
