Invented accusations of alleged sexual violence against young students, which according to the investigations carried out so far by the Carabinieri have no foundation. This is the reason behind the brutal attack that occurred in recent days against a support teacher at the Scanzano middle school, in Castellammare di Stabia (Naples), perpetrated by about thirty parents who broke into the school during class hours .

Insults, slaps, pushes and punches, the teacher suffered a head injury, the father who intervened to defend her broke his wrist .

And the Carabinieri are continuing their work on the whole affair. The examination of the cell phones of the teacher and some students has not revealed any elements to support the accusations , which some mothers have confirmed on social media. There is no trace of compromising videos , a hypothesis that some parents had spoken about to investigators. The investigators are also paying attention to the climate of aversion that has grown in recent days around the support teacher, who had discovered a boy smoking in the bathrooms, leading to a suspension order against him. The teacher had her social media profiles hacked in August, and in recent days she had received death threats via chat .

Of course, the attack on the woman is also being investigated: in the next few days, the participants in the raid should be identified to ascertain their individual responsibilities.

And tomorrow, Monday, November 18, the school will reopen under guard. There will be a carabinieri patrol at the entrance for the resumption of lessons, requested by the principal Donatella Ambrosio herself, given the climate of high tension. The assaulted teacher, at home after suffering a head injury, will obviously not be on duty. But the families who are contesting her, giving credence to rumors of alleged sexual harassment of some students, insist on asking for her removal and threaten to have their children skip lessons.

The principal has recently again called for calm: "I neither defend nor accuse anyone, there are investigations that will clarify things. But I firmly condemn violence, which should never enter school." Don Catello Imperato, parish priest of Scanzano , made a similar appeal in his homily at Sunday mass: "Enough with the anger and violence, we need a time of peace and mercy," he said, condemning "do-it-yourself justice." "We ask for forgiveness," he emphasized, "when we acted in this way. Let us ask ourselves if the rush to act on social media was not dictated by fear of others, while waiting would have led to truer justice ."
