Taranto, the homemade firecracker suddenly explodes: child loses three fingers

Moments of fear in the province of Taranto where a ten-year-old boy lost the thumb of his left hand and two fingers of his right hand following the sudden explosion of a homemade firecracker .

The purchase shortly before the drama. The woman who sold it to him was tracked down and reported. The accident occurred late in the evening of December 28th. The child, initially taken to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Taranto, was then transported to the Bari Polyclinic where he was admitted to the plastic and reconstructive surgery department.

Other illegally detained fireworks were found in the seller's home.
