Digos investigations continue, launched after the dissemination of the images, taken during a funeral in Rome, of the coffin of a far-right exponent - Alessia Augello - on which a Nazi flag has been spread.

In these hours, the police carried out searches of 8 Forza Nuova militants.

The same militants had already been denounced in recent days by the two investigative offices for having participated in the display of the banner with the swastika, which took place in the churchyard of the church of Santa Lucia, in the capital, last January 10.

Augello died at the age of 44, due to complications that arose after surgery.

The news of the Nazi tribute to his funeral went around the world and was also picked up by CNN.
