The facilitations for entry into Italy for those arriving from non-EU countries with the stop to quarantine come into force today, 1 March, as provided for in the ordinance signed in recent days by Minister Roberto Speranza.

Therefore, for those who enter our country, the same rules apply regardless of origin, i.e. one of the conditions of the basic Green pass: vaccination certificate, recovery certificate or negative test. In case of lack of one of these elements, the 5-day quarantine will be applied with the obligation to undergo a molecular or antigen test, carried out by means of a swab, at the end of this period.

The certifications can be exhibited in digital or paper format. While children under the age of six are exempted from carrying out the molecular or antigen test.

Meanwhile, the occupancy rate of beds for Covid patients remains stable, with no new peaks, both in intensive care units and in hospital wards in the medical area. According to the latest data from Agenas, published yesterday, intensive care is still at 8% and exceeding the alert threshold of 10%, are Marche (11%), Sardinia (12%) and Lazio (at 13%). While the occupation of posts in non-critical area departments remains at 17% and all regions or autonomous provinces exceed the alert threshold of 15%, except Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, Molise, Pa Trento, Pa Trento, Piedmont and Veneto.
