Stop to the no Green pass events in Piazza Duomo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Milan.

This was decided by the Committee for public order which was held this afternoon in the prefecture, in view of the 17th consecutive Saturday with the no-pass procession scheduled for tomorrow in Milan.

"From today, on the days before holidays and holidays, as well as on all days between November 25 and January 9, the area of Piazza Duomo, including Corso Vittorio Emanuele, is reserved for religious and civil, cultural and commercial events and entertainment programs planned or sponsored by the Municipality of Milan ", reads the note from the prefecture.

In fact, in the area of Piazza Duomo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele, installations and the structure of the Christmas markets will be set up which, "combined with the already massive influx of citizens, constitute an objective impediment to concomitant events that are not coherent and compatible with the context, for clear safety reasons, in particular from a health and safety point of view ", continued the prefect of Milan, Renato Saccone.

Events not authorized by the police will be allowed only in static form. The demonstrators will therefore be able to remain in Piazza Fontana if they decide to meet there, as they do every Saturday.

In the case of an authorized demonstration, the procession will be allowed, "only with the express assumption of responsibility by the organizers for compliance with the anti Covid legislation". And for protesters who do not wear masks during a gathering situation, fines will be triggered.
