He threatened and stalked his ex-girlfriend. But things went further, up to sexual intercourse obtained under duress. This is what happened in Borgo Virgilio (Mantua), where the carabinieri arrested a 50-year-old man following a custodial order issued by the investigating judge of Mantua for sexual violence and stalking of the woman with whom he had had a romantic relationship.

On one occasion the man had gone beyond harassment and threats and had forced her to have sexual intercourse. Following the break-up of the engagement - according to what was reconstructed by the military - the 50-year-old had started sending numerous text messages, some of which were threatening, from various telephone numbers so as not to be identified. Then the stalking began, standing under the woman's home with attempts to enter.

The complaint filed by the victim also included an episode of sexual violence. The man is now in the Mantua District Prison.
